We’re excited to announce that the 2021 GDC will be held in San Francisco on March 29-31, 2021. The event is already underway, with many talks at Moscone West.

March 29 – April 1: GDC 2021

The Game Developers Conference is a huge event held every March in San Francisco, California. It’s where game developers and publishers come together to share their work and ideas. This year’s conference will be held from March 29th through April 1st at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis & Marina.

The theme for this year’s GDC 2021 was ‘A World Built on the Blockchain’. It featured presentations from some big names in the gaming industry, including Blizzard Entertainment (World of Warcraft), Ubisoft (Far Cry), Microsoft (Halo: Master Chief Collection) and many more!

Attendees included game designers like Chris Roberts (Star Citizen) who taught us about how he used blockchain technology as part of his company’s latest project called Star Citizen Universe – an online universe where players can create anything they want within its boundaries

April 15-16: Supernova Digital

Supernova Digital is a conference for digital creators, marketers and innovators. It’s the leading conference for digital creators, marketers and innovators.

The first ever Supernova Digital will be held in San Francisco on April 15-16th at Pier 48 Studios.

May 9-14: I/O 2021

Google I/O is a developer conference held each year in Mountain View, California. It’s the largest developer conference in the world and it’s called “I/O” because it refers to two parts: input and output. It also has an optional third part that could be orientation or orientation. In this case, it means “introduction.”

In recent years, Google has moved away from calling their annual events by numbers—like 20th anniversary or 10th birthday—and instead names them after what they are about: “I/O” stands for software development (for example) while “NEXT” stands for cloud computing (because there were two NEXT conferences before this).

May 17-20: Augmented World Expo

Augmented World Expo (AWE) is the world’s largest event focused on augmented reality and mixed reality. The three-day expo will take place May 17-20 at San Jose Convention Center in California, with over 1,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in AR/MR technology.

In addition to exhibiting booths from companies like Microsoft, Google and Apple, AWE also has an emphasis on educational sessions for schoolchildren between ages 10–15 years old. Attendees can learn about how their peers are innovating with new technologies such as VR headsets or Google Glasses at these sessions hosted by experts from different fields including gaming; entertainment; education; healthcare etc..


The takeaway from this article is that we need to be more aware of the world around us, and how it affects our lives. As more tech giants adopt and embrace the metaverse, here are some other conferences to keep an eye on. Watch for more information about Microsoft Ignite, scheduled for November. Microsoft recently announced plans to acquire Activision Blizzard, positioning itself for the metaverse. The deal is expected to close in fiscal year 2023.
